  • Fit (F): frame everything.
  • Top / Front / Right / Iso: buttons in the top-right corner of the 3D view.

Axis colours

The indicator in the bottom-right corner turns with the view and shows which way the world axes point: X red, Y green, Z blue (Z is up). The move arrows use the same colours, so the red arrow always moves along X. Click a letter to look along that axis.

Measure

View › Measure (or M), then click two points. The view draws the way from the first point to the second as X, Y and Z legs in the axis colours (red, green, blue), each labelled with its length, plus the straight line with the total length. The bar at the bottom reads Length · X · Y · Z in mm. A click on a hole uses the hole's centre (on its axis, halfway down) and shows its diameter, so you get centre-to-centre distances between holes. A third click starts a new measurement; Esc stops.

Section cut

View › Section › Cut across X, Y or Z. Everything on one side of the cut disappears; cut material shows red, so you can see wall thickness and how parts sit inside each other. Slide the cut with the bar at the bottom; Flip shows the other half; Close removes it.

Clicking still works on what's left; whatever the cut hides can't be picked.

X-ray

View › X-ray (or X) makes every part see-through, to check what's inside a housing or where holes run.
